By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must not use the App.

Payment card data is processed by app stores or payment processors (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or RevenueCat) and is not stored by Ayisyen Konekte.

- The content of your communications and responses

You can control whether we collect precise location data through your device settings. Some features may not function properly without location access.

- Apple Sign-In: name and email address (where provided by Apple)

- Firebase Crashlytics (or similar tools): crash reports and diagnostic information
Advertising and Marketing Partners
We may integrate with advertising and marketing tools such as:
- Meta SDK (e.g., Facebook, Instagram-related tools)
- Google Ads and related Google advertising/measurement services
- Email marketing platforms (for newsletters, updates, and promotional emails)
These tools may collect or receive information about your use of the App (such as device identifiers, IP address, and usage data) in order to measure performance, provide analytics, and, where applicable, deliver or measure personalized advertising, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the purposes described below, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4.1 Providing and Operating the App
- Create, manage, and maintain your user account
- Provide core App functionality, including viewing and posting businesses, events, radio stations, jobs, and feed posts
- Display user-generated content to other users
- Provide location-based features (such as nearby businesses or events)
- Enable radio streaming and related features
- Process and manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
- Send service-related notifications (e.g., security alerts, changes to terms, subscription updates)
4.2 Improving the App and User Experience
- Monitor and analyze usage, performance, and trends
- Diagnose and fix technical issues and crashes
- Develop new features and improve existing ones
- Conduct internal research and analytics (often using aggregated or de-identified data where possible)
4.3 Communication
- Respond to your inquiries, feedback, and support requests

- Send marketing and promotional communications (including newsletters, special offers, and updates about the App), where permitted by law and with your consent where required

- Provide, where supported by the platform and your settings, more relevant advertising or recommendations relating to our services

5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area ("EEA") or the United Kingdom ("UK"), we process your personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:

We share information with third-party service providers and partners that perform services on our behalf, such as:
Firebase (Google Cloud):
- Authentication
- Cloud Firestore (database)
- Cloud Storage (file storage)
- Analytics and crash reporting
- Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
RevenueCat:
- Subscription and entitlement management
- Payment validation and related analytics
Google Maps and similar mapping providers:
- Location services and map display
Advertising and Marketing Tools:
- Meta SDK (e.g., for analytics and advertising-related tools)
- Google Ads and related measurement services
- Email marketing providers (for newsletters and promotional emails)
App Stores:
- Apple App Store and Google Play Store, for subscription payments and distribution of the App
These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
6.3 Legal and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose your information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with a law, regulation, legal obligation, or valid legal process (such as a subpoena or court order)

7.1 Where We Store Data
Your information is stored on servers hosted by Firebase (Google Cloud) and other cloud providers. These servers may be located in the United States and other countries in which our service providers operate.
7.2 Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as:
- Your account is active or as needed to provide services;
- We have a legitimate business need to do so (for example, to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or reporting requirements); or
- It is necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
When you delete your account (see Section 8.2), we will delete or anonymize your personal information within approximately 30 days, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain certain information.
7.3 Security Measures
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (e.g., HTTPS)
- Authentication and access controls
- Logical and physical safeguards for our systems
- Periodic review of security practices
However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

- Some information may persist in backups or logs for a limited period;
- We may retain certain information where required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to enforce our rights.
8.3 Location Services
You can control the App's access to location information through your device settings. Disabling location services may limit certain features (such as nearby recommendations or map-based search).
8.4 Push Notifications
You can control push notifications through your device settings and, where available, within the App. You may disable marketing or promotional notifications, while still receiving essential service-related notifications (e.g., security alerts, critical account messages).
8.5 Analytics, Advertising, and Marketing Preferences
Where supported by your device or platform, you may:
- Limit or reset advertising identifiers in your device settings;
- Adjust privacy settings that affect how your data is used for advertising; and
- Opt out of certain analytics or marketing cookies/SDKs, where such controls are available.

8.6 Subscription Management
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Billing, renewals, and refunds are generally governed by the terms of the applicable app store.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), subject to applicable exceptions. These may include:
- Right to Know: To request information about the categories of personal information we collect, the sources of such information, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Access: To request a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Delete: To request deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

Ayisyen Konekte LLC is based in the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States:

Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect personal data transferred from the EEA/UK to countries outside the EEA/UK.
